Job Title: Residential Doorperson
Location: Nine Elms, London SW8
Hours: 42 hours per week (predominantly 12-hour day shifts with flexibility to work nights as required)
Salary: £33,100 per annum

Thomas Webb Recruitment is a specialist consultancy connecting premium residential developments with outstanding front-of-house professionals. We are currently seeking a polished, service-driven, and proactive Residential Doorperson to join the team at one of London's most prestigious luxury residential developments.

The Doorperson will play a key role in creating an exceptional resident experience, delivering a warm sense of arrival and fond farewell whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and security. This position requires a highly personable individual who can anticipate resident needs, respond efficiently to requests, and contribute to the smooth daily operation of the development.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome residents, guests, visitors, and contractors with a professional and hospitable approach at all times
Create a positive sense of arrival and departure through exceptional customer service and resident engagement
Build strong relationships with residents, maintaining awareness of individual preferences and requirements
Assist residents and guests with luggage, shopping, deliveries, transport arrangements, and directions as required
Support the concierge and security teams in maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the development
Monitor access control procedures and report any security concerns or incidents appropriately
Assist with incoming parcel, food, and shopping deliveries, ensuring efficient handling and communication
Support resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring communal areas remain presentable and well maintained
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the porte cochere, entrance areas, and surrounding front-of-house spaces
Ensure all operating equipment used by the door team is clean, maintained, and functioning correctly
Report building defects, maintenance issues, or operational concerns to the appropriate departments
Assist with key management procedures, ensuring building security is maintained at all times
Participate in comprehensive handovers to ensure continuity of service between shifts
Support compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and all company health and safety procedures
Attend all required training sessions and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Doorperson, Concierge, Porter, or Front of House professional within a luxury residential development or 5-star hotel environment
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Dependable, professional, and service-driven approach
Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with residents and guests
Cultural awareness and the ability to engage with a diverse resident community
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including occasional night shifts where required
Eligible to work in the UK
