We are seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to support programmes and areas across the project including Central, Site, Engineering, MEH, Nuclear Island, Conventional Island and Balance of Plant, Instrumentation & Controls and Commissioning. Working within the Integrated Project Controls (Risk) team, the Senior Risk Analyst acts as an expert within the Risk team, ensuring the Risk strategy is followed across the project and supporting governance arrangements for risk reporting.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Risk management lead for the nominated Programme/Area within the project.
- Provide assurance of the maintenance of Risk and Opportunity data within the Risk software system.
- Deliver Risk and Opportunity reports to a defined reporting cycle including commentary on time-related drivers and performance issues.
- Work with Integrated Project Controls teams to ensure schedule and cost estimates are informed by risk information.
- Support programme teams and Tier 1 contractors in assessing contractor-held risks and opportunities.
- Support improvements to integrated risk management procedures, reporting and tools.
- Produce and present project controls information at Programme Reviews, Board Meetings and Portfolio Risk Reviews.
- Manage and verify information within PowerBI dashboards and support improvements.
Requirements
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in project management, project controls, engineering or related field.
- Industry recognised project controls or risk management qualifications such as Management of Risk Practitioner or APM Risk Level 2.
- Ability to deliver accurate and concise Risk insights to support decision making.
- Understanding or experience of wider project controls disciplines including cost, schedule and change.
- Ability to facilitate risk discussions with stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.
- Ability to use Risk management software.
