We are seeking to appoint a Payroll and Accounts Apprentice to join our finance team at Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust to assist with payroll and accounts activities. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, conscientious, hard-working and works with a high degree of detail whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.
Salary of £21,158 per annum.
Opportunity to study Accounts Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities:- Payroll:
- Processing payroll instructions
- Preparing pension returns and letters
- Sending payslips
- Preparing payroll reports and journals
- Creating banking files
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Posting purchase and sales invoices and assisting with associated queries
- Assisting with the day-to-day banking tasks, including raising payments
- Setting up new suppliers
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Supporting the Director of Finance, Payroll Officer and other senior colleagues as required
- A team player who is forward thinking and happy to support colleagues as required.
- Strong work ethic and comfortable working to deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality to protect sensitive information.
