We are particularly keen to appoint an individual with a well-established track record of excellent GSCE and A Level results over a sustained period. The Geography Department regularly achieves 25% of A Level grades at A/A* and 15% of GCSE grades at 8/9. The ideal candidate will have the skills and enthusiasm to maintain and improve on these averages. Geography is popular with high uptake at both GCSE and A Level, with over 250 students studying the subject across Key Stage 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will be integral in seeing this uptake continue to improve. In addition, knowledge and experience of all or most of the following, would be welcome:
- AQA Geography at GCSE 8035 Living with the physical environment and challenges in the Human environment
- OCR Geography at A level H481 Human and Physical
