Thomas Tallis School is a flourishing and popular school situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We currently have over 2,000 pupils on roll, including around 700 students in our highly competitive sixth form. We are seeking to appoint a committed, organised and compassionate Education Assistant – Interventions (SEN) to join our dedicated SEND team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Working under the direction of the Deputy SENDCO (KS3), the successful candidate will take responsibility for planning, delivering and monitoring targeted interventions for students with SEND, both individually and in small groups. The role includes providing day-to-day support within the SEN area, contributing to the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), monitoring student progress, and working closely with teaching staff, parents and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Additional experience and knowledge of a variety of SEND interventions would be highly advantageous in this role.
