Yard Person - Haddington

Job Description

Thomas Sherriff has a new and exciting opportunity for a yards person within our organisation. The successful applicant must be a confident machine operator with an eye for detail and good organisational skills.

Essential requirements include:

• Familiar with operating agricultural machines
• Forklift/telehandler qualification (training can be provided)
• Full driving license
• Able to work on their own and as part of a team

This is a full-time role based on a 39 Hr week Monday to Friday with additional Saturday mornings when required.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Clean and prepare new/used machines for sale
• Keep yard and premises clean and tidy
• Loading & Unloading lorries
• Occasional deliveries would need to be carried out
• Reporting to the Outlet Service Manager
