The Role:
- To guarantee supplier invoices are processed, and supplier queries dealt with in a timely manner.
- To oversee that all invoice queries in the financial system are resolved in an accurate and timely manner.
- To liaise where necessary with finance teams, internal and external customers and external suppliers.
- To ensure compliance with finance policies, processes and procedures.
- Assist the Transaction Processing Manager with any ad hoc duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Educated to good GCSE level with a strong understanding (Intermediate Level) of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts Payable/Transaction Processing role, strong knowledge of VAT, and familiarity with accounts processes. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with excellent numerate and analytical skills.
- Skills: Have excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and methodical approach. An excellent communicator in both written and verbal communication. Is a positive, enthusiastic team player but also works well independently.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
