Thomas Search is delighted to be supporting a national support services provider in the recruitment of a unique Capital Works Project Manager at MOD Swynnerton Training Camp, North Staffordshire. This is a key regional role with travel across the West Midlands and Wales.
Our client provides essential FM & Construction support services across the MoD estate, maintaining a safe, sustainable environment, and delivering major projects that enhance vital military assets. We are looking for an experienced PM who can deliver a diverse portfolio of construction, civils and M&E projects. Someone who is motivated, organised and confident managing multi-disciplinary projects.
- Manage a portfolio of construction, civils and M&E projects throughout their lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations
- Oversee project design, planning and execution
- Liaise with statutory bodies to secure approvals and permits
- Manage supply chain contracts and ensure contractual compliance
- Deliver projects across multi-disciplinary environments including conservation sites, military ranges and forestry settings
- Ensure projects meet environmental, operational and safety requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC or equivalent in construction, project management or a related field
- Proven experience managing construction or hard FM projects
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with IT tools including MS Project
- Valid UK driving licence
- The ability to obtain UK government security clearance
Remuneration:
- Salary: up to £54,100
- Car Allowance: £500 per month
