MULTI TRADE ENGINEER

Thomas Search are supporting an award winning construction & facilities management provider with a 35 year PFI contract to maintain various commercial/industrial MOD assets at Tidworth military camp.

Salary: £37,700 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, no weekends
Location: Tidworth

Your Role:

  • You will be undertaking a pre-defined and specific scope of refurbishment works across buildings within the Garrisons, including Aldershot, Tidworth, Bulford, Larkhill and Warminster.
  • You will be repairing wet systems to address active leaks, including work on polypropylene pipework systems.
  • You will be carrying out drywall patch repairs to maintain fire compartmentation.
  • You will be repairing and replacing fire stopping materials as required.
  • You will be applying fungicidal treatments in line with required standards.
  • You will be modifying locks in fire doors and working in accordance with Safe Systems of Work requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: You will hold a full valid UK driving licence, an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Carpentry or equivalent multi-skills qualification, and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme Operative or IOSH Working Safely certification.
  • Experience: You will have industrial and commercial building services experience, experience as a Multi-Trade Engineer within the facilities maintenance sector, and experience delivering a pre-defined scope of works to an agreed programme while following Safe Systems of Work requirements.
  • Skills: You will have proactive communication and interpersonal skills, a strong professional work ethic, excellent customer service focus, and the ability to deliver repetitive work in a consistent and methodical manner while working effectively as part of a team.
