We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Delegate Sales Executive who is eager to use their skills to positively impact critical industries and the communities within them. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or candidates starting their sales careers.

This full-time, hybrid position is based in Canary Wharf, London.

About the Role

As a Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events , you will:

  • Reach out to potential delegates/participants mainly through calls, emails, and social media to inform them about upcoming events.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of potential delegates and match these with our event offerings.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by following our minimum KPI standards.
  • Be part of a motivated sales team and learn the business from the ground up.
  • Sell delegate places and tickets across our global events portfolio.
  • Build relationships with leads across various industry sectors and earn commissions on every sale.
  • Qualify and nurture sales leads using excellent customer service skills.
  • Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level B2B conferences worldwide.
  • Work comfortably towards targets and communicate with decision-makers at major organizations.
  • Receive training on sales techniques to succeed as a sales executive.
  • Potentially progress into business development or conference production roles, gaining diverse transferable skills.
