We are looking for an experienced litigator to lead a Litigation Department, manage a varied caseload, and drive the growth of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation lawyer looking to progress into a Head of Department role, or an existing Head of Litigation seeking a fresh challenge.
You'll handle:
- Commercial disputes: contracts, shareholder/director issues, commercial property, High Court/County Court work, mediation
- Civil litigation: property disputes, possession claims, professional negligence, contract/tort matters, probate-related claims, enforcement
You'll lead:
- Department strategy, performance and financial targets
- Team development, supervision and quarterly reviews
- Business development, marketing and cross-referrals with other departments
- Compliance, process improvement and high-quality client service
You'll bring:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent)
- 6+ years PQE in commercial litigation
- Leadership or supervisory experience (or clear readiness to step up)
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
