Overview

An Automation Test Analyst with a focus on automation using a BDD methodology in a C# stack is required for a Software Company based in Surrey.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse requirements and specifications provided by clients and developers to identify testing needs
  • Implement automated test scripts
  • Contribute to project planning ensuring target dates are realistic and achievable
  • Ensure that agreed deadlines are met
  • Contribute to system documentation and provide timely reporting of progress, issues and risks

Experience required

  • Developing test infrastructure and test scripts using Gherkin-style behavioural-driven development
  • Proven ability for detailed understanding of complex requirements and systems
  • Proven track record of service delivery in a pressurised and demanding environment
  • Educated to degree level (in Science/Maths/IT)

Any experience of the following would be beneficial:-

  • Selenium and Specflow/Reqnroll (Gherkin for .NET)
  • Understanding of pensions/financial industry background
  • C# programming
  • Software Testing qualifications (ISEB/ISTQB Foundation)

The role offers a hybrid working environment with 2 office days a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).
