Role Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating sliding head CNC machines
  • Programming Star and/or Citizen sliding head machinery
  • Producing precision engineered components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
  • Ensuring machines operate efficiently and safely

The Person

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience setting and programming sliding head CNC machinery
  • Strong experience with Star and/or Citizen machines
  • Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
