Role Responsibilities:

As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC machinery within the machine shop
  • Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out machine checks and maintaining production documentation
  • Inspecting components to ensure quality standards are achieved
  • Reporting non-conformance issues where required
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
  • Supporting production targets and continuous improvement activities
  • Working closely with Team Leaders and other departments across production

The Person:

The successful CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on CNC machining experience within a manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards work
