This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller Programmer/Setter to join a modern manufacturing environment producing high-precision engineered components within a quality-driven setting.
The successful CNC 5 Axis Miller Programmer/Setter will play a key role within the machining department, supporting production through machine setup, programming, quality control and continuous improvement activities.

- Overtime paid at 1.5 x
- Overtime available from 6:00am – 8:00am and 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- 25 Days Annual Leave rising to 30 Days plus Bank Holidays

- Setting, operating and running CNC 5 axis machining centres
- Machining precision engineered components to tight tolerances
- Working with Mazatrol control systems
- Carrying out machine setups for routed machining processes
- Supporting fixture, tooling and program improvements
- Training and supporting machine operators when required
- Completing self-inspection and quality documentation
- Working from engineering drawings, inspection plans and shop documentation
- Carrying out basic preventative machine maintenance
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with 3 and 5 axis machining centres
- Proficient with Mazak Mazatrol control systems
- Experience with Mazak J500, J600, i800 or 510 machines advantageous
- Apprenticeship or recognised machining qualification preferred
- Able to work to extremely tight tolerances (+/-0.010mm)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
