Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: Up to £37,000 DOE

The successful CMM Quality Inspector will play a key role within the quality department, ensuring components meet strict engineering and customer standards through accurate inspection and reporting processes.

Role Responsibilities
  • Carrying out dimensional inspections of precision engineered components
  • Operating CMM inspection equipment
  • Completing first-off, in-process and final inspections
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges
  • Recording inspection results and completing quality documentation
  • Supporting production teams with quality-related issues
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
The Person
  • Previous experience as a CMM Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating CMM equipment
  • Aberlink experience would be beneficial
  • Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and measuring equipment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
