Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC control systems.
  • Producing precision-engineered components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Carrying out tool changes, offset adjustments and machine set-ups.
  • Inspecting your own work using standard measuring equipment to ensure components meet strict quality standards.
  • Completing in-process inspection in line with SPC requirements.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Person

Previous experience working as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter/Operator or CNC Miller/Turner within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

Experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC controls.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use standard inspection equipment.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality precision components.

Experience working with Nakamura machines or bar feed systems would be advantageous, although not essential.

Aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working Hours

Permanent Day Shift 39 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times to support a healthy work-life balance.
