We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer in Early Years to join our team in Gloucester. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Early Years education and dedicated to supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
The Role
You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Early Years programmes, ensuring students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to progress into employment or further study.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons
Assessing, marking, and providing constructive feedback to learners
Supporting learner progress and achievement
Carrying out the usual expectations of a classroom teacher/lecturer, including tutorials and academic support
Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement
About You
The successful candidate will have:
A qualification at Level 3 or above in Early Years
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Relevant experience within the Early Years sector (desirable)
Qualifications to assess learners in the workplace setting (desirable)
Strong organisational and communication skills
A learner-centred approach and commitment to inclusive education
