Human Resources Advisor in Tewkesbury, £39,950, Permanent, 40 hours per week, office based.

An established and people-focused organisation is seeking a confident HR Advisor to join its supportive HR team. This varied generalist role offers the chance to provide practical HR guidance, support managers and contribute to meaningful people projects across the business.

The Role:

  • Provide clear HR advice to managers and employees across areas such as employee relations, performance and absence management
  • Coach and support line managers to develop strong people management skills
  • Manage general HR administration, including contract changes, leavers and employee records
  • Work closely with key internal teams to support a smooth employee experience
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy updates, reporting and workplace engagement activities

Person Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, or working towards this level with relevant HR experience
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and generalist HR practice
  • Confident, approachable communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
