The Opportunity: Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Plumbing Lecturer to join their successful construction and building services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional looking to inspire the next generation of tradespeople while sharing their industry knowledge and expertise. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high quality teaching within both practical workshop environments and classroom settings, supporting learners to achieve their full potential and develop the skills required for successful careers within the plumbing industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across Plumbing programmes. Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements. Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback to support progress and achievement. Monitor learner attendance, progress and performance against agreed targets. Provide support for English and Maths development within vocational learning. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learner needs and remove barriers to learning. Promote industry standards and demonstrate how vocational skills relate to real world employment. Support learners with progression opportunities into employment, apprenticeships or further education. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent learner experience. Participate in open days, recruitment events and other promotional activities. Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding at all times. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives. About You To be considered for this role, you will have: Significant industry experience within Plumbing and Heating or a related trade. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or an equivalent qualification. A genuine passion for developing and supporting learners. Strong communication and organisational skills. The ability to motivate and engage learners from a range of backgrounds. A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding. Willingness to undertake mandatory training where required. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential, as support may be available for the successful candidate to gain relevant teaching credentials. Benefits Competitive salary package.
