We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our team in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about teaching and supporting learners to succeed in the Health and Social Care sector.
The Role
As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students studying Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care, with the potential to contribute to T Level Health and Social Care programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons
- Assessing and marking student work in line with awarding body requirements
- Supporting and monitoring student progress
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Fulfilling the usual expectations of a classroom teacher/lecturer, including tutorials and academic support
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A qualification above Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- A teaching qualification
- Experience of delivering BTEC Health and Social Care to 16–18 learners (desirable)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
