Are you an experienced English Lecturer or English teacher who can support learners to build confidence and achieve their next step?
The Role:
- Deliver engaging GCSE English sessions, mainly for 16 to 18-year-old learners
- Teach Functional Skills English to adult learners where required
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learner needs and confidence levels
- Support learners to make progress towards successful outcomes
- Work professionally within a further education setting
Person Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in English
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Experience delivering English in further education, secondary, adult learning or similar settings preferred
- Ability to motivate learners who may need extra encouragement with English
- Flexible and organised approach, with availability to work across both locations
