Are you an experienced English Lecturer or English teacher who can support learners to build confidence and achieve their next step?

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging GCSE English sessions, mainly for 16 to 18-year-old learners
  • Teach Functional Skills English to adult learners where required
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learner needs and confidence levels
  • Support learners to make progress towards successful outcomes
  • Work professionally within a further education setting

Person Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in English
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience delivering English in further education, secondary, adult learning or similar settings preferred
  • Ability to motivate learners who may need extra encouragement with English
  • Flexible and organised approach, with availability to work across both locations
