Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspection of machined components using CMM and manual measuring equipment
- Program and operate CMM machines
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product compliance
- Complete first-off, in-process, and final inspections
- Record and report inspection results, highlighting any non-conformances
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
- Ensure all inspection activities are completed in line with company and industry standards
The Person:
- Proven experience as a CMM Quality Inspector within a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Experience using CMM software (e.g. PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS, Aberlink or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexible to work a double day shift pattern
