On behalf of our client, a highly respected High Street practice, we are seeking a proactive and professional Legal Administrator/Legal Secretary. This role provides essential support to the Property and Wills & Probate departments.
The firm is highly regarded in the local area, built on a foundation of long-standing clients and recommendations from clients and local estate agents. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong initiative who is looking for a stable and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handling the opening and closing of files across both departments.
- Assisting two fee earners in the Property and Wills & Probate departments.
- Producing accurate legal correspondence and documents through digital dictation.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients via telephone, email, and face to face.
- Ability to provide all the general administration requirements of a legal firm.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative or secretarial role is preferred, particularly within Residential Property and/or Wills & Probate.
- Proficient in audio dictation and Microsoft Office.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple tasks across different departments (Property and Wills/Probate) without constant supervision.
- Excellent telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with clients and other professionals.
