The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and professional legal secretary/PA to provide essential support to the Commercial and Residential Property departments in a busy High Street firm in Evesham. The firm is highly regarded in the local area, built on a foundation of long-standing clients and recommendations from clients and local estate agents. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong initiative who is looking for a stable and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handling the opening and closing of files across both departments.
  • Obtaining client’s ID documentation, and if required source of funds and source of wealth evidence, information and documentation.
  • Assisting 1 fee earner (possibly 2) in the Commercial/Residential Property Department.
  • Producing accurate legal correspondence and documents through digital dictation.
  • Amending legal documents by way of track changes.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients via telephone, email, and face to face.
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT Returns.
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with any requisitions.
  • Ability to provide all the general administration requirements of a legal firm.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a legal secretarial/PA role is preferred, particularly within a Commercial Property department.
  • Proficient in audio dictation and Microsoft Office.
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple tasks across different departments without constant supervision.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with clients and other professionals.
