Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc control systems.
  • Producing precision-engineered components in line with customer drawings and specifications.
  • Carrying out tool setting, tool changes and offset adjustments.
  • Conducting self-inspection of completed work to drawing and SPC requirements.
  • Using a variety of measuring equipment to ensure components meet strict quality standards.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Person

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out self-inspection using standard measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality precision components. Experience within aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
