Are you an experienced CNC Offline Programmer looking to join a modern engineering business working with advanced machining technology? Do you have strong CNC Milling programming experience and knowledge of Edgecam software? Are you looking for a well-paid fixed-term opportunity within a stable and highly respected manufacturing environment?
Our client, a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Stroud, is currently looking to recruit a skilled CNC Offline Programmer to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern machining environment programming complex components across both horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines, as well as CNC turn-mill machines.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production efficiency, optimising machining processes, and ensuring high-quality output across the machine shop.

- Reducing cycle times and improving machining efficiency where possible

- Ensuring all work is completed in line with engineering drawings and specifications
- Previous experience as a CNC Offline Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment is essential
- Strong experience using Edgecam software is essential
- Previous CNC Milling programming experience is essential
- Experience with Vericut software would be advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
