This is a REMOTE position.
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established valuation firm looking to expand their team across the South West. They are seeking a qualified Valuation Surveyor who prefers a role with professional freedom and a localised patch. Our client is a prominent name in the lending sector, and they have a consistent pipeline of instructions across the South West. They are looking for a reliable professional to join their team.
The Work Pattern
This role is structured to offer efficiency and a genuine balance between field work and home life:
- You will travel directly from home to your first appointments.
- You will typically carry out 4 to 5 inspections within a 40-to-50-mile radius of your front door.
- You will spend your afternoons working from home to complete your reports and submit your valuations.
- While the role is primarily remote, you will have the full support of a central office in Bath for administrative assistance and team meetings.
The Portfolio
The workload is focused on valuations for secured lending. You will deal with a variety of residential assets including:
- Standard residential properties
- HMOs and residential blocks (Experience here is highly valued)
Our client would also be very interested in candidates with experience in commercial valuations, though this is not essential for the position.
Candidate Requirements
- You should ideally be MRICS qualified and must be a RICS Registered Valuer.
- You will need a proven track record in residential valuations for mortgage lending purposes.
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential for this role.
The Package
£40,000 to £50,000 depending on your experience and RICS status. Business mileage is reimbursed at the standard rate of 45p per mile. This is an autonomous role where you are trusted to manage your own daily schedule.
