Our client is looking for a Business Centre Manager to take the reins of our vibrant, pet friendly site in Barnsley. This is a role for a "doer" someone who can balance the art of the deal with the discipline of operational excellence.
The Role
As the Business Centre Manager, you are the face of your site. You will be responsible for everything from the day to day operations to driving the commercial growth that keeps us ahead of the competition. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will manage a local team and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the site is not just running, it is thriving.
Key Focus Areas:
- Driving income through new sales, renewals, and ancillary streams.
- Managing expenditure and daily site inspections to maintain premium standards.
- Overseeing P&L, monthly invoicing, billing, and cost analysis.
- Direct line management of Assistant Managers and Maintenance Operatives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver a targeted marketing strategy to ensure high occupancy and brand visibility.
- Own the customer journey from the first viewing to move in, building strong ties with brokers and local authorities.
- Regularly audit the site to ensure full compliance with Health and Safety and company policies.
- Review P&L against budgets to achieve a high yielding Net Operating Income (NOI).
- Tackle challenges head on, remaining unfazed by demanding customers or tight deadlines.
