Responsible for supporting the Group CEO and leadership team on the delivery of strategic initiatives, preparing high-quality reports and presentations, and ensuring the smooth execution of business priorities. Specific responsibility for leading and coordinating the agreed actions under the Group ESG strategy in partnership with the Group COO and the Group CSR programme in partnership with the CSR Committee. Work with the Group Marketing function on communications relating to these responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Business Operational Support

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic planning and execution.
  • Collect, analyse and report on data from clubs/businesses/functions for Board and Committee reporting and to inform decision-making.
  • Work with clubs and businesses to track and report on progress on the annual TM Group Business Plan.
  • Track progress against TM Five-Year vision and contribute to the development of the annual TM Business Plan
  • Draft executive-level reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on business performance.
  • Support the Group CEO and Group COO in managing Group projects and high-priority initiatives.

ESG

  • Manage the collation of data and information on Thomas Miller’s ESG performance, monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the TM ESG Materiality review process to ensure that the Group strategy remains relevant.
  • Work to the agreed ESG roadmap in respect of tracking and reporting ESG metrics for the Group.
  • Working in partnership with the relevant departments (HR, Risk & Compliance, Facilities, etc.) to identify and implement appropriate processes to measure and track the Company’s ESG impact.
  • Collate, track and analyse ESG data, translating into reports and presentations that enable effective communication of the Company’s activities and impact.
  • In conjunction with the functional subject matter expert, lead sustainability initiatives throughout Thomas Miller
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and provide advice to the senior management team on compliance with ESG regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Coordinate content and draft the annual TM Group ESG Report.
  • Coordinate meetings required to take forward sustainability action plans. In particular, work with the internal staff group to champion ESG matters.

CSR

  • Oversee the running of the CSR Committee in conjunction with the CSR Executive sponsor and Director responsible for CSR.
  • Coordinate the Company\’s approach to a range of CSR programmes including working with individual clubs/businesses and functions to facilitate employee contributions.
  • Coordinate a team of CSR champions to ensure that CSR initiatives are promoted throughout the Group
  • Act as point of contact for Volunteer organisations and coordinate volunteering opportunities for the Company employees
  • Conduct research, develop ideas and plans and build relationships with CSR partner organisations, including charity organisations
  • General support to the CSR Committee
