The role of the Alternative Provision Family Support Worker is to work under the direction of the Head of School, in partnership with other professionals, to offer practical help and emotional support to pupils and families experiencing various problems. This is a permanent role working 37 hours a week, 39 weeks a year - Term Time Only.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has GCSE/NVQ level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths. Experience of working with children or young adults in an education setting together with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across a range of challenging issues and people including parents/carers, scholars, staff and members of the wider community.
