Thomas Mansfield | Employment Associate | London Role overview Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Employment Law Solicitor (4-8 years PQE) to join our specialist Employment Law team based in London City.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated solicitor to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters within a supportive, forward-thinking and commercially focused environment.
Key responsibilities Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy, TUPE, breach of contract, restrictive covenants and settlement agreements.
Advising employers and employees on employment risk management, workplace issues and dispute avoidance strategies.
Conducting and advising on Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting pleadings, witness statements and schedules of loss.
Representing clients in Employment Tribunal hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations and ACAS conciliation.
Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, including contracts of employment, policies, procedures and settlement agreements.
Providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s objectives.
Supporting clients with day-to-day HR and employment law issues as part of ongoing advisory relationships.
Engaging in business development activities, including networking, building client relationships and contributing to the growth of the Employment Law department.
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
Keeping up to date with developments in employment law and Employment Tribunal practice.
