The Role: Thomas Lyte is looking for skilled and talented silversmiths. Your role will entail crafting and restoring some of the world’s most iconic sporting trophies as well as an array of bespoke pieces, both modern and historic. In return we will pay a market leading salary, together with annual bonus, private medical cover and long-term incentives. Total concentration and focus is required at all times to ensure the safety of all personnel. This is a busy working environment and successful applicants will need to be fully conscious and mindful of the pace and strength of machinery being operated.
Location: We have opportunities to be based at our state-of-the-art workshops in both East London (Hainault IG6) and Ashford, Kent.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the team to create, restore, repair bespoke trophies, awards and objet from 20cm to 60cm in height
- Liaising with colleagues in polishing, plating, engraving and administration
- Assisting with quality control of the finished products to ensure that the highest standards are maintained
- Actively contributing new ideas to the dynamic environment and working closely with staff throughout the company
- Understanding and complying with the Health and Safety regulations
