Overview
Take your electronics expertise into a role where innovation meets real-world impact. You\’ll join a specialist engineering team developing the next generation of variable-frequency drives used across global industrial and energy-saving applications. This is a hands-on design position working on complex power electronics circuits from concept through to testing and validation.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, analyse and test electronic and power-electronics circuits.
- Produce schematic designs and PCB layouts.
- Work on AC motor-control systems and contribute to performance improvements.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and test teams on new product development.
- Ensure designs meet EMC and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience in power-electronics design and circuit simulation.
- Good understanding of AC motor control and PCB design.
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- Experience with Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of PFC circuits and DSP-based motor control firmware.
- Familiarity with EMC testing and compliance.
