CT Technologists are responsible for:

  • Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
  • Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
  • Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.
  • Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic and interventional images of the body.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
  • Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
  • ARRT certification required.
