The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to help build and optimise the infrastructure that powers Thomas. You’ll work at the heart of our Azure cloud environment, designing scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality software quickly and safely. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, improving reliability, and building systems that scale.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools.
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments.
- Support and optimise data infrastructure and pipeline architecture.
- Monitor and improve platform performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product teams to improve developer productivity.
- Contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
About You
Experienced in Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Comfortable with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting capability (PowerShell, Bash, etc.). Passionate about automation, reliability, and continuous improvement. Collaborative and solution-focused.
