A leading residential organisation, recognised for delivering high standards of safety, compliance and service across a diverse portfolio of residential developments, is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join its large inhouse safety team of over 24. This opportunity forms part of a continued investment in building a proactive, high-performing safety culture, supporting operational teams to maintain safe, compliant and well-managed environments for residents.
This is a hands-on, developmental role supporting day-to-day health & safety and wider compliance activity. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Monitoring compliance performance
- Supporting incident investigations to ensure actions are implemented and lessons learned are embedded
Alongside core activity, you will also contribute to project-based work, supporting the delivery of safety improvements across the portfolio and helping to drive consistency and quality in how safety standards are applied. You will play a role in reviewing the quality of reports and outputs, ensuring a high standard is maintained across all safety documentation and processes. You will also support the ongoing development and enhancement of safety systems and technology, helping to improve how data is captured, managed and utilised across the organisation.
A key highlight of this position is the opportunity to be closely mentored by a highly respected and industry-renowned Director of Safety. This will provide structured development, hands-on support and exposure to complex portfolios—offering an exceptional platform for career progression.
The role would suit a proactive and organised individual with a foundation in health & safety, a willingness to learn and the ability to build strong relationships. A relevant qualification (such as NEBOSH General Certificate) is a requirement but open to supporting individuals recently passed with operational experience in Facilities Management or the Built Environment.
