We are seeking an experienced Principal Planner to join our client, a market leader in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Based in Guildford, this is a rare opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the lead in a growing team, delivering exceptional planning services across large-scale renewable energy and power generation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of planners, driving excellence in service delivery.
- Oversee major planning applications, with a strong focus on solar, renewable energy, and power generation projects.
- Manage large-scale cable route planning, including critical infrastructure works.
- Handle Section 37 applications and contribute expertise on Development Consent Order (DCO) projects.
- Provide strategic planning advice to key clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
- A chartered town planner (MRTPI or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
