We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation with a significant residential property portfolio as they appoint a H&S advisor to provide expert advice and assurance across their Property Services function.
This is a newly created role with genuine scope to shape the organisation’s approach to construction health and safety, working across responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, compliance and capital investment projects delivered through both DLO and external contractors.
You’ll act as the lead competent adviser, developing and embedding effective health & safety and CDM arrangements, while providing practical guidance and challenge to operational teams, surveyors, project managers and contractors.
A key part of the role will be strengthening assurance through audits, inspections, contractor monitoring and incident investigations, alongside producing clear reporting for senior management.
You will need to be credible, pragmatic and confident influencing stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical improvements on the ground.
The organisation offers a strong overall package, including a competitive salary, generous annual leave, excellent pension contributions and a broad range of additional benefits. There is also a genuine agile working culture, offering good flexibility between office, site and home working, alongside strong training and development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
