We are partnering with a large and growing organisation with a significant portfolio as they appoint a Head of Health and Safety to provide strategic leadership across their operational and property services function. This is a senior leadership role focused on setting the Health & Safety strategy, strengthening governance and assurance, and creating a consistent approach across a complex, multi-site operation and dispersed workforce. A key part of the role is working closely with regional and operational leadership teams to set clear standards, improve safety performance and ensure effective assurance across day-to-day property and maintenance activities. You’ll also play an important role in supporting continued growth and organisational change, providing expert Health & Safety guidance, challenging where required and helping embed a strong, practical safety culture across the workforce. The opportunity would suit an experienced Health & Safety leader from social housing, property services, DLO, maintenance, FM or a similar operational environment, with strong knowledge of CDM, management systems and UK Health & Safety legislation.
