This is a newly created role as part of continued investment in Building & Fire Safety. Our client is bolstering the team with an additional Fire Safety Manager to support fire safety & compliance across their estates.
This is an assurance focused position centred on holding third-party consultants, managing agents and specialist contractors accountable for discharging fire safety operations. A key part of the role is to ensure works are delivered in line with statutory duties and regulatory expectations and meet the requirements of external enforcing authorities, including Fire & Rescue Services.
Working across live, operational assets ensuring that once works are complete, occupants remain safe and this is evidenced appropriately through robust documentation, audit and ongoing assurance processes.
You will sit within a collaborative, cross-functional team that includes fellow Fire Safety professionals, Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Engineers, Administrative Support all under the leadership of an experienced Director of Building Safety.
This opportunity would suit a qualified Fire Safety professional with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational compliance within occupied properties.
