Our client is a nationally operating fire safety consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Fire Risk Assessments across a diverse portfolio. With continued growth and investment across their FRA division and increasing demand from a loyal client base, they are now seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to take on a key role within the team.

This is a senior, hands-on position combining technical delivery and client engagement. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will lead the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments, take ownership of key client relationships and support the ongoing development of the FRA service. The role is suited to an assessor who enjoys responsibility, autonomy and influence, while remaining actively involved in site work.

You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of assessments, with a focus on complex and higher-risk buildings. Alongside this, you will act as a technical reference point for the team, supporting quality assurance, peer review and supporting the growth of junior assessors as well as contributing to CPD activity and best practice across the department.

The position also offers exposure to the commercial side of consultancy, with involvement in workload planning, utilisation and margin awareness, and the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of the FRA function. This role will be site or home based with limited travel to head office when required.

This opportunity would suit an established Senior Fire Risk Assessor with strong technical credibility and the confidence to lead, influence and support others within a growing consultancy environment.
