A growing main contractor delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, and mixed-use projects across London and the South East is seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to lead post-completion support across its live project portfolio. The role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless handover and defects management experience for both clients and tenants—while also being site-certified to cover Site Manager duties during holidays or short-term absences . Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for all aftercare, defects and snagging queries from clients and tenants post-handover Coordinate subcontractor callouts and ensure timely resolution of all issues within the defects liability period Carry out post-completion inspections and follow-up snagging Maintain accurate logs of outstanding and completed defects using tracking systems Build strong relationships with end-users, landlords, and project stakeholders to ensure satisfaction Represent the contractor professionally during tenant move-ins and practical completions Provide site cover during holiday periods, stepping in as acting Site Manager when needed Requirements Proven experience in aftercare, handover, or site management on commercial/industrial projects Strong communication skills with a confident, client-facing manner Highly organised and self-directed; able to track multiple issues across multiple sites Capable of managing subcontractors and chasing resolutions independently Fully site compliant with valid: SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid Comfortable working across Greater London and the South East Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, snagging software Ref: 3906JR41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
