Our client is a leading residential developer committed to creating high–quality homes and building communities. We are currently seeking a motivated and technically proficient Management Accountant to join their Finance department and contribute to their continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Management Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Core Accounting: Manage accruals, prepayments, and perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations to maintain ledger integrity.
- Year–End Support: Assist with the preparation of year–end audit materials, including the drafting of financial statements for various group companies.
- Tax Compliance: Handle corporate tax duties, serving as the primary liaison with external tax accountants to ensure seamless filings.
- Indirect Tax: Prepare and submit monthly VAT and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns.
- Process Improvement: Take ownership of financial processes, identify opportunities to implement efficiencies, and better workflows.
- Ad Hoc Support: Assist the broader finance team with ad hoc projects and operational tasks as required.
