We’re partnering with a well-established housing organisation with a significant residential property portfolio as they appoint a Fire Safety & Compliance Advisor to support the delivery of fire safety across their homes and wider property portfolio.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to join a specialist team and play an important role in maintaining safe, compliant buildings whilst supporting colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll support the fire risk assessment programme, undertake inspections and audits, monitor fire safety actions and assist with compliance against current legislation.
You’ll also provide practical advice and training to colleagues, support incident investigations and work closely with asset management and development teams.
The successful candidate will have experience working within fire safety, ideally within social housing, housing or the public sector, together with a recognised fire safety qualification and good knowledge of relevant legislation.
You’ll need to be organised, technically credible and confident working with colleagues, contractors and residents, with strong IT and reporting skills and the ability to turn technical requirements into practical actions.
The organisation offers a strong overall package, together with genuine opportunities for development and progression.
If you’re looking for a role where you can apply your fire safety expertise across a varied property portfolio and make a visible contribution to improving safety standards, I’d be keen to speak with you.
