We’re partnering with a well-established housing organisation with a significant residential property portfolio as they appoint a Senior Fire Safety Manager to provide leadership, assurance and technical expertise across their fire safety function.
This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to take a lead role in shaping the organisation’s approach to fire safety, working closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams, asset management and development.
You’ll oversee the fire risk assessment programme, ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation, manage fire safety actions and inspections, and lead the development of policies, procedures and strategies.
You’ll also manage a small specialist team and build effective relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in fire safety, ideally within social housing or a complex property environment, with a recognised fire safety qualification and significant experience of fire risk assessment, compliance and contractor management.
You’ll need to be confident advising senior management, managing a team and translating complex legislation into practical outcomes, with excellent communication, organisational and reporting skills.
The organisation offers a strong overall package, together with genuine opportunities for professional development and flexible working.
