Are you a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional looking to make an impact in procurement? Our client, a well-established company in the M&E sector, is seeking a dynamic Buyer to join their team.

The Role: As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project and Commercial Departments by managing procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement tasks, managing budgets, negotiating supplier agreements, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising procurement systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Managing budgets and liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Sending enquiries, obtaining quotes, and placing orders for materials and sub-contractors.
  • Negotiating discounts and credit terms with suppliers.
  • Overseeing stock control and ensuring budget compliance.
  • Developing and maintaining supplier performance records.
  • Producing cost and time reports as required.
