A community focused social housing provider is seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance across its small portfolio of high-rise and complex residential buildings.
Responsibilities
- This critical role provides operational leadership for buildings over 11 metres, including Higher-Risk Buildings, ensuring homes are safe, compliant and supported by robust risk management and resident engagement.
- You will oversee safety case development, regulatory certification, mandatory occurrence reporting, and the management of fire, structural and building safety risks.
- Working closely with internal teams, contractors and external specialists, you will commission and review technical assessments, manage remedial programmes, maintain accurate building safety information, and ensure readiness for regulatory scrutiny.
- The role also involves oversight of contractors working in higher-risk buildings, escalation of safety concerns, and leading resident engagement on building safety matters.
Qualifications
