We are currently seeking a Freelance Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a residential development project based in the Arundel area. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a well-structured site team on a substantial multi-phase scheme.
The Role:
- 6-month freelance contract with an immediate start available
- Working 4 days per week on site and 1 day from home
- Acting as the lead QS on site for this project
- Supported by a part-time Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) and a visiting Commercial Manager
- Involvement across 2 phases of a residential scheme, totalling approximately 350 units
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing commercial aspects of the project on site
- Cost control, valuations, and reporting
- Liaising with site teams and senior commercial staff
- Supporting delivery across both phases of the development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on traditional build residential projects
- Background working with recognisable housebuilders or developers
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with a small team
- Strong commercial and communication skills
