Lead a kitchen that fuels one of Scotland's most important infrastructure projects.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands‑on Head Chef to lead catering operations at Greens, Aberdeenshire, a remote workforce compound facility supporting personnel working on a critical energy infrastructure project with our client BAM for SSEN.

This is a unique opportunity for a chef who enjoys working within a close‑knit team environment, providing high‑quality food and hospitality services to the workforce on site. You will play a vital role in ensuring workers receive nutritious, varied, and enjoyable meals that support their wellbeing and performance throughout demanding project schedules.

During the initial mobilisation phase, foodservice will operate from a modern, high‑specification food truck facility, providing freshly prepared meals and hospitality services to a growing workforce. As the project develops, the successful candidate will lead the transition into a purpose‑built modular kitchen and dining compound, taking ownership of a significantly expanded catering operation.

This phased approach offers a rare opportunity to establish standards from the outset, build your team, influence menu development and help create a flagship catering operation from the ground up.

We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our locations in Greens,Aberdeenshire.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality.
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • Great team player
